Blast freezer Saro URSUS 5S

The SARO blast chillers/freezers in the URSUS series are designed for professional use in restaurants, commercial kitchens, catering operations, institutional catering and production kitchens. They are suitable for rapidly chilling and blast freezing prepared food and support controlled processes in food preparation.

The housing and interior are made from stainless steel, while the outer base is made from galvanised steel. The self-closing door is designed for daily commercial use. The appliances are suitable for 1/1 GN containers or trays measuring W 600 x D 400 mm.

The URSUS models feature four preset temperature levels, a core temperature probe, digital temperature control and fan-assisted refrigeration. Manual defrosting and 70 mm insulation complete the equipment for regular use.

The series includes different sizes for varying loading quantities. Depending on the model, versions for 5, 10 or 15 shelf positions are available, allowing the appropriate blast chiller/freezer to be selected according to the production volume.
